The National Team will travel to Guadalajara on Sunday the 7th with 14 players. With Silvia Domínguez at the helm, those selected are the bases Maite Cazorla and Leticia Romero; the escorts Leonor Rodríguez and Queralt Casas; the eaves, María Conde, Laura Quevedo and Alba Torrens; power forward Paula Ginzo and Irati Etxarri; and the pivots, Laura Gil and Raquel Carrera. These are the 12 that will play the two qualifying matches, but they will be joined by Georgina Bahí and Ángela Salvadores, who will attend as guests and will work during the days of the concentration with the group.

A concentration in which Miguel Méndez will debut as National Coach and in which he will prepare, together with his coaching staff, the first two qualifying matches for EuroBasket 2023. The first of them will be played on Thursday, November 11 against the national team of Hungary in Szekszard; and the next one, on Sunday the 14th against the Romanian national team in Almería. Both games will be played at 6:00 p.m. and can be followed live on Teledeporte.

This will be the first qualifying window for EuroBasket 2023. The Spanish National Team is included in Group C, along with Romania, Hungary and Iceland. Another 37 teams, divided into 10 groups, will fight to qualify for the European Championship to be held in 2023 in Slovenia and Israel. Of them, 14 teams will qualify: the 10 winners of each group and the best 4 seconds.

In addition to this Window, another one will be held from November 24 to 27, 2022 and the last one from February 24 to 27, 2023.
