For the third consecutive year, Valencia Basket will fight for the title of the Copa de la Reina. He will do it at home, against SPAR Girona, in what will be a repeat of the last final of the ko tournament. The taronja team overcomes the absences showing a very collective game that the rojillo team failed to stop.
A first quarter that predicted the tension of the match (14-15)
Valencia Basket took the first lead (5-2) boosted by a Fonteta committed to his team. This slight taronja superiority was cut short after an exchange of triples (8-8), from which Casademont Zaragoza ended up making the most of it, with a hit by Antonia Delaere from 6.75 to end the first period ahead (14-15).

Despite the fact that Valencia Basket tried to put distance in between (24-19), the red team resisted thanks to the points of a vital Merit Hempe both in attack and defense (24-22). After two good actions by Lara González (59-45), Valencia sentenced with two triples by Ouviña and Allen (65-47) that put the victory on track and, therefore, the pass to the semifinals of the tournament for the third consecutive edition.
