Acunsa Gipuzkoa encourages fans to come to Illunbe on December 12 for the match against Força Lleida with a new, non-war and non-sexist toy. In exchange for giving a toy they will receive a team scarf.

To do this, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., a collection point will be set up for those who attend the match to collaborate with this cause. The aim is to collect 5,427 toys in Gipuzkoa and recognize play as a fundamental right of childhood and pass on the benefits it produces to the little ones.

The crisis derived from the health situation caused by COVID-19 has worsened the situation of many families cared for by the Red Cross, and for this reason, this project becomes even more important in this context in which it seeks to guarantee that these children and young people do not have difficulties accessing the game.

For the last two seasons, Gipuzkoa Basket has collaborated with the Youth Red Cross in this cause, in which many people have joined it. Thanks to the intervention of the volunteers of the Red Cross Youth and the collaborating entities, last campaign 4572 new, non-sexist and non-warlike toys were distributed.
