The 1.88m shooting guard from Tenerife will once again defend the Burgos jersey during the 2022/23 LEB Oro season. The beginning of his sports career led him to compete in the teams of Gran Canaria, La Palma and Cáceres, before joining Breogán River, where he completed three courses, from 2013 to 2016.

It was then that the player signed for the Miraflores Basketball Club, thus beginning his first stage in Burgos. The Canarian was part of San Pablo Burgos for three seasons, between 2016 and 2019, in a period in which he won the historic promotion to the Endesa League in 2017. During more than one hundred games in Burgos, Álex López became one of the references from the Coliseum complex, from which it came out in the 2018/19 campaign.

In the last three seasons, the shooting guard has been part of CB Canarias in his homeland, from 2019 to 2021, and Urbas Fuenlabrada, throughout the 2021/22 season. It should be noted that during his time in Tenerife, the player lifted the 2020 FIBA ??Intercontinental Cup title. Now, the player from Tenerife will seek, together with Hereda San Pablo Burgos, the way back to the Endesa acb League, the great challenge of the season that is coming, which is expected to be full of enthusiasm for the fans of the Coliseum.
