ANDhe Baxi Manresa certified its seventeenth victory in the Endesa League after placidly beating MoraBanc Andorra (94-60) in a game that the Manresa broke in the second quarter and showed their best version in the second half, when they overwhelmed their rival.

In the premises, with a choral game, four players -Vaulet (11), Maye (13), Moneke (13) and Francisco (13)- surpassed the barrier of ten points, while in the Andorran team only Jelinek (10 ) reached double digits in a very gray game.

And that MoraBanc Andorra, which did not come out of the bottom of the Endesa League classification, started more involved in the game, leading the pace against a thick Baxi Manresa, who reversed the dynamic with the entry of the second unit and turned the score around after starting 4-10, with a 13-9 to finish the fourth with a three-point lead (17-14).

The pace of the game dropped at the start of the second quarter. It was difficult for both teams to flow in attack, also because of the good defenses. Proof of this was that in the middle of the fourth, the partial was 2-5 (19-19 min 15).

The rhythm changed when the hosts picked up the pace with three consecutive triples, two of them by forward Thomasson (28-19 min 17). The Manresans closed with a 17-2 run in the last five minutes of the period.

Baxi Manresa started the third quarter better, especially forward Juanpi Vaulet, who with eleven points catapulted his team on the scoreboard (50-29 min 24). The local team got carried away until the end of the period and with a run of 18-12, from the last time out, they left the victory very much on track.

The last quarter had no history. Baxi Manresa controlled their rival’s little momentum at all times to close the sixteenth victory of the season at the Nou Congost (94-60).
