The Australian foreigner thus joins the renewed Marie Gülich, Queralt Casas and Cristina Ouviña, the incorporated Alba Torrens and Leticia Romero, Ángela Salvadores and Raquel Carrera, players who already had a contract for the next campaign.

Going for its third season

Allen came to Valencia Basket in the 2020-21 campaign from the Polish Arka Gydnia, playing in the Euroleague and contesting the WNBA with New York Liberty in parallel. In her first year at the Club, she was already very important in lifting the EuroCup Women’s title and reaching the Copa de la Reina and LF Endesa finals. In this second season, her points and her defense have continued to be vital for achieving the LF Endesa and SuperCup Women’s Super Cup titles and qualifying for the League final. She has averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and a PIR of 11.8 at LF Endesa. In EuroCup Women her numbers amount to 13 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1.4 steals, 1 block and a PIR of 14. In these two years, Allen has catapulted to the top of several historical Valencia Basket rankings, being 2nd in points (1,191), 1st in triples (205), 3rd in steals (131) and 1st in blocks (77). A good example of the player’s versatility and her work on both sides of the court.
