ANDhe RETAbet Bilbao Basket has registered “two positive cases of COVID-19 within the first team,” as reported this Friday by the Basque club, which has an Endesa League match on Sunday against Valencia at La Fonteta.

“Those affected are isolated at home and in good condition,” explains the Basque entity.

After learning about this case, “the rest of the team members will undergo a new test this Friday.”

Due to these positives of covid, Bilbao Basket has been forced to suspend the press conference of the coach of ‘the men in black’, Alex Mumbrú, ahead of Sunday’s clash in Valencia (8:00 p.m.), a match that, depending on the development of events, it might have to be postponed.

The Bibaíno team thus joins TD Systems Baskonia and UCAM Murcia, two other teams from the Endesa League that have cases of coronavirus in their squads.
