Together with the Brotherhood of Blood Donors of Cáceres, the Cáceres City of Basketball has started a collaboration campaign this Monday to encourage donations among fans of this sport, an act of generosity and responsibility of all those who, having good health They want to help save the lives of others.

Thus, each person who has approached the blood draws at the San Pedro de Alcántara Hospital has been able to obtain two tickets for the next meeting as a local of the Cáceres World Heritage Site against Palencia, and what is more important, can save with your donation three lives.

It is a solidarity initiative of the club with the brotherhood, to which it has delivered almost 500 tickets for the game on Sunday, February 20, in the Multipurpose Pavilion.

As collaborators this Monday the players Romaric Belemene and Mateo Díaz have taken advantage of the occasion to chat, among others about the last victory in Huesca, with the volunteers of the brotherhood and with the people who have come to donate blood to the center hospitable, as well as handing them tickets for the next home game.

The president of the Brotherhood of Blood Donors, Jesús Domínguez, has thanked the club for its collaboration with this initiative that “saves lives” and has valued the involvement of the one hundred thousand donors from Extremadura and 400 volunteers so that “there is no lack of blood in the operating rooms ”.

In addition, Domínguez has announced that the city of Cáceres will host for the first time the events for World Blood Donor Day on June 11, specifically, the San Francisco Complex, a “very big day for Cáceres”.
