Canadian player Jessica Fequiere will play next season at BAXI Ferrol
Baxi Ferrol continues to put together the squad with which it will compete next season in the Challenge League and has reached an agreement with the Canadian player Jessica Fequiere for her to report to Lino López.
She is a player who studied at the University of Albany and has spent four years in Spain, playing the first two seasons at Iraurgi, to later join Barcelona and Celta Zorka Recalvi.
Jessica is a versatile player, because she can both play wide, with a good three-point shot, and play inside, since she posts very well.
The player comments that “I am very happy to be part of a team like BAXI Ferrol. I really want to start, compete and enjoy with the team. I look forward to meeting my teammates, the coaching staff and the fans”.
For his part, the coach, Lino López, comments on the forward that “she is an outside player who is a very good teammate, with a good work ethic and a great professional. She always has experience in good teams in the league, this being her fifth season in Spain. She is a very reliable player offensively with a lot of ability to score, either with shots or playing the post”.
In this way, with the signing of Jessica Fequiere, the team now has eight players after announcing the Finnish Marianne Kalin, the American Jenna Allen, the Spanish-Argentines Andrea Boquete and Julieta Mungo, the Cantabrian Marta Gómez, the Valencian Irene Garí and Catalan Claudia Soriano.
