ANDhe Joventut achieved a comfortable victory this Sunday on the court of Coosur Betis (66-77) in another exhibition of collective basketball by a green and black team, which insultingly dominated the rebound in both areas and took off on the scoreboard when end of the third period.

The first few minutes showed the dependence that the Betis team has on their point guard, Shannon Evans, who starred in a fabulous initial period without shooting failure to score fourteen of the twenty-one points for his team against a team from Badalona that was sustained thanks to their power in the offensive rebound (21-19).

La Penya took advantage of Evans’ rest minutes to endorse a 0-7 partial at the end of a second quarter in which the black-and-white distributed their points intelligently and benefited from Coosur Betis’ lousy 1 of 12 three-pointers to give a small pull of the marker (33-39, min. 20).

Equality reigned when they returned from the locker room, with the local team more toned from the perimeter and the Catalans becoming strong in the offensive rebound thanks to Ante Tomic, but a counterattacking triple by Joel Parra put the maximum difference on the scoreboard (41-50 , min 26) and forced Luis Casimiro to ask for time out.

However, the coach did not achieve the desired effect, as Parra blocked the first local shot and, immediately afterwards, Willis scored five consecutive points that raised the visitor’s lead to a range that forced the Betis to come back heroically in the final period. (48-59, min. 30).

A good defense by Joventut left Coosur Betis without scoring in the first four minutes of the last quarter, in which the partial 0-8 decided without remission a game that screwed the Sevillians in the last place in the table and consolidated the third position of the badaloneses.
