ANDhe Coosur Real Betis has reached an agreement with the player Eulis Báez, power forward of 2.01 m and 39 years old, who signs with the Verdiblanco team until the end of the course. Báez has extensive experience in the Endesa League, where he has participated in 373 games over 12 seasons after his stint at Valladolid, Gran Canaria and Manresa.

The sports career of the new Betic player started in his country in 2000, participating with Los Minas in the National District League, shortly before heading to the University of Florida (2002/03).

It was in 2005 when he got his first opportunity in Spain with the Akasvayu Vic of LEB Plata, where he stayed for three courses. His great numbers in Vic and his performance in Lugo in LEB Oro helped him to knock on the doors of the top flight with CB Valladolid (2008/09).

The evolution of Báez caused him to sign for Gran Canaria, a club in which he has developed a large part of his sporting career in Spain (2012-19), and where he managed to be champion of the Endesa Super Cup in 2016/17 together with Luis Casimiro and Berdi Pérez. And his last experience in Spain was at BAXI Manresa, a team with which he played the 2019/20 and 2020/21 courses.

His achievements include the runners-up in the Eurocup (2014/15) and Copa del Rey (2015/16) with the island team. Báez has been a key player in the Dominican Republic team since his debut in 2011 until 2018.
