The new Azulino player, who can occupy the point guard and shooting guard positions and who has dual British and Dutch nationality, arrives from Levitec Huesca La Magia.

Devon Doekele Van Oostrum (The Netherlands, 1993) began his professional career playing for the Sheffield Sharks of the British BBL when he was only fifteen years old. His precocity and projection did not go unnoticed for Baskonia to sign him in the summer of 2011 with a multi-year contract. He would play the first two on loan at LEB Oro in the Tarragona and Cáceres ranks, forming part of the Baskonia first team and debuting in the Endesa League at the age of twenty. From 2013 to 2018, the player was loaned to various teams in the first European leagues until, in his last loan with KK MZT Skojpe, the player missed the season due to a cruciate ligament injury in his knee. After ending his relationship with the Spanish team, Van Oostrum has played between the Netherlands and Spain, although the physical problems with his knee have not allowed him to perform at the expected level until this season at the Levitec Huesca, where before joining the autonomous city, the player averaged more than twelve points and almost three assists per game.

From the club we want to wish Devon Van Oostrum all the luck in this new stage as a Melilla Sport Capital player.
