Yet another match up for the two top teams in the ACB: FC Barca and Real Madrid are finalist for the 2011 Copa del Rey on Madrid’s home turf. Last year, Barcelona won the title along with the Euroleague Championships in Paris. The two teams are at it again, who will win?

Yesterday, the lottery for the ACB 2011 Copa del Rey was announced. FC Barcelona leads the pack once again this year and Real Madrid follows. Both teams have the same record, however Barca edges with basket average. Below are the teams for the Copa del Rey, that will be held in Madrid on February 10-13th

Tau Ceramica reached the finals pretty easy after closing out Barcelona Saturday night. However, facing Unicaja, witnessed a team that fought until reaching overtime. Tau Ceramica closed out Unicaja by only 2pts (100-98) to win its 6th Copa del Rey title.

Barca Faces Tau in Copa del Rey Semifinals

Regal FC Barcelona shot well from behind the arc to get a clear victory over Real Madrid to advance to the Copa Del Rey 2009 Semifinals. Juan Carlos Navarra led all scorers with 28 points, even without his new “La Bomba shoes” due to discomfort. Louis Bullock led Real Madrid in scoring with 22 points.

While TAU Cerámica did not have any trouble passing Valencia Pamesa with a 16pt (82-66). Tiago Splitter led all scorers with 20pts.
