Fuenlabrada will be extending forward Christian Eyenga’s contract according to sources. Eyenga has been playing for Fuenlbarada since 2017.

Last season Eyenga, 32, averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 24:16 minutes over 36 Spanish League games.

Prior to Fuenlabrada, Eyenga played for such teams as Zielona Gora, Varese, Unicaja Malaga and Dinamo Sassari in Europe. He had a two-year NBA stint from 2010 through 2012 during which he played 54 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers.

UPDATE: Fuenlabrada announced Saturday (3/7) that Eyenega will stay with the team for the 2021-22 season.
