Golden Girls Lose To Russia In Eurobasket
Spain started the Eurobasket 2007 Championship very good and almost went undefeated until the big Russians gained control of the final game. Spain previously won against the Russian Womens National Team in the first round but what mattered was in the Final.
Spain did have a good go at it and recieving the silver medal is not bad. Top player Amaya Valdemoro won the MVP of the Eurobasket. Spain will have to play in the qualifying games to seek a chance to play in the Olympics 2008 in Beijing!
