Real Madrid meant business against Bilbao and managed to dominate in both ends of the court from start to finish, to grab a 95-61 victory to conclude Round 9 action in the Spanish Liga Endesa.

Adam Hanga and Guerschon Yabusele were the two protagonists for Pablo Laso’s squad, scoring 19 and 18 points respectively. Vincent Poirier followed with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Jeffrey Taylor added 10 points, as Real improved to an 8-1 record and currently rank second in the ACB standings.

Andrew Goudelock led Bilbao with 14 points, Angel Delgado posted 10 points and 13 boards and Valentin Bigote tapped 10 points. The team sinks further down the standings with a 2-7 record.

Other notable results of the round include Barcelona’s 79-64 victory against Obradoiro on the road, paced behind an 18-point performance by Nikola Mirotic, while Valencia finally bounced back with a narrow 71-70 victory against Joventut Badalona as Bojan Dubljevic led the efforts of Joan Penarroya’s squad with 18 points and 8 rebounds.
