Spectacular day 25 of the LF Endesa, with close matches, surprises and memorable performances. From below, Baxi Ferrol’s unmitigated victory against Casademont Zaragoza in possibly their best match of the season. A spectacular defense, a superb Taylor Koenen (17+11) and a third quarter in which they suffocated the Aragonese attack (21-5) were key to the sixth victory for the Galicians.

One more has Tenerife and Innova-tsn Leganés after a surprising Wednesday. The ladies from Madrid beat SPAR Gran Canaria with a great third quarter and with Vini Pierre-Louis becoming great in the paint (21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists). The Canary Islands surprised Campus Promete in Logroño by coming back from a bad first quarter and with Theresa Plaisance in MVP mode. And with six left Pajariel Bembibre (and two games less) after losing at home against IDK Euskotren dominating most of the minutes.

In the Teledeporte game, Kutxabank Araski impressed with a great basketball, led by their duo Tanaya Atkinson – Leia Dongue, who increased the pace of the game from the second quarter to disarm Lointek Gernika of a serious Tinara Moore. That result, and the victory of Durán Maquinaria Ensino against Movistar Estudiantes, makes the fight for the playoff even tighter.
