When the Balearic Islands signed the American shooting guard they were co-leaders with a balance of 1-14. Ten games later and 6-4 leaves Palmer Alma Mediterránea with options to fight for permanence. The Palma team is one of the dangerous rivals in this final stretch of the season, and Elijah Brown is one of the keys.

The Californian guard was very successful in the outside shot in his team’s victory against CB Prat (78-98). He scored 5 three-pointers out of 11 attempts, some of them in the decisive moments of the third quarter; and 8 of 8 on free throws. He distributed 4 assists, captured 4 rebounds, recovered a ball and received 7 fouls, for a total of 29 PIR points.

Anecdotal section:

It is not Elijah Brown’s first MVP in the LEB Oro. He got another one last season, with the Unicaja Banco Oviedo shirt on matchday 3. On that occasion he shared it with Pedro Llompart and Jonas Zohore, two HLA Alicante players. On this occasion, the award goes to the American alone, curiously on another brilliant day for the Balearic point guard.

The ideal quintet of the day:

Two of the winning teams on matchday 26 were HLA Alicante, with a narrow victory over CB Almansa with Afanion, and Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma, who achieved an important win in Prat de Llobregat. Each of them has two players in the ideal quintet, to whom is added a regular like Michael Carrera, the ICG Força Lleida player, author of 17 points in the match in which they knocked down the leader.

Pedro Llompart and Joey van Zegeren are the winners of the HLA Alicante. The base continues to give quality lessons on the track and also becomes the top assistant of the day. The center is another regular in this section with his decisive 22+9. MVP Elijah Brown and Tomas Pavelka are the members of the Palmer AM Palma quintet. The center is performing at a high level and was the best rebounder of the day with 13 sacks.
