Former Toronto starting point guard Jose Calderon was finally traded to the Detroit Pistons in three-team deal starring Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzlies. Initially, Calderon was traded to the Grizzlies to start along Marc Gasol but later was traded to the Pistons.
Jose Calderon was averaging 11.1 points and 7.4 assists this season for the Raptors (16-29). Now he will look to turn things around for the Pistons in hopes for playoff position.
