On a purely sporting level, and during his 4 years of university (2016/17 to 2019/20), he was the top scorer in the competition for 3 consecutive seasons and won numerous individual awards such as Rookie of the Year (2016/17) , Best Player of the Season (2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19) and member of the Ideal Quintet (2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20). His college averages after playing 81 games were 25.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 33.6 minutes. His great qualities have served him to debut in the senior team of his country in 2020. Currently Gray is playing in the CEBL League with the Ottawa Blackjacks team.

CEBL is a Canadian professional league created 3 years ago with the aim of promoting the sport of basketball in Canada and serving as a showcase to attract the attention of foreign clubs to the best players in that country. Numerous players known to Leb ORO fans are participating in that league this year: Mathieu Kamba (former Leyma player), Kimbal MacKenzie (Huesca), Kris Joseph (Tizona Burgos and Gray’s current teammate in Ottawa Blackjacks),… In the 8 games played to date Gray averages 15.4 points with 42.5% accuracy in T3, 4.0 assists and 5.3 rebounds in 31 minutes of play. Gray is a player who joins Leyma to accompany Zach Monaghan in the guard position, who stands out for his great ability to overflow in the 1×1 and ease of penetrating the basket.

Participate in all kinds of game actions, picking up loose rebounds on the defensive rim and looking for and assisting teammates in good shooting positions. He has a good 3-point shot and a high percentage of free throws, a line to which he regularly attends due to the fouls he receives after his penetrations to the basket. From Básquet Coruña SAD we want to convey to the player our satisfaction for his incorporation to our club, we hope that he adapts soon to our city and the demanding competition of the Leb Oro, and that he has good luck in the season. We are sure that the orange fans will welcome him with great affection, and he will enjoy his game and great matches every day at #OFornoDeRiazor.
