“Laia Raventós really was a player that we had between eyebrows since she left for the United States. When she came back we got a two-season contract and it was a wish, even before starting last season, to renew it. Seeing how everything has gone for her, now it is a reality that makes us very happy and that she will continue to give a lot of things to this team and club”. These statements by Pep Ribes, sports director of Cadí La Seu, largely define the satisfaction felt by the club after the renewal of Laia Raventós for this coming season became effective. He defines her as “a player with an exceptional talent for this sport”. He ends by valuing her great progress in these two years saying that “we were clear that her conditions, qualities and basketball talent would appear for sure at some point” and that Laia showed herself as “the player that she is and like the one to come.”

Jordi Acero, who has already known the player for the last two seasons as the team’s assistant coach, is very pleased to have her as the coach of Cadí La Seu: “We are very happy as a club, and I as a coach , of the continuity of Laia Raventós and that she can play her third season here in the entity. Above all, in this second one she has raised her level and that of the team a lot, and we are sure that she will continue to contribute many things to us at an offensive level. Happy that she has identified so much with the club and that she has made the decision to continue with Cadí La Seu for another year. We have a season ahead of us with many challenges, but at the same time very exciting, and the fact that Laia is the seventh player to renew is a factor that makes us very happy. Very convinced that the Palau d’Esports will be more than happy with this renewal and that we will all continue to vibrate with her game together with that of the rest of the teammates”.

Eleventh piece, and seventh renewal, for a Cadí La Seu 2022/2023 which only needs to know the last player who will complete it: Laura Peña, Elise Ramette, Laia Raventós, Ariadna Pujol, Júlia Soler, Paula Strautmane, Taylor Koenen, Georgina Bahí, Bojana Kovacevic, Montse Brotons and Jewel Tunstull.
