Menno began his basketball journey in Spain, at the Canarias Basketball Academy in 2015. He then completed his university cycle in the US playing with the UC Riverside Highlanders of the University of California Riverside in NCAA I.

In the 19-20 season he returned to Spain to play for Girona in LEB Plata, achieving promotion to LEB Oro with the Catalan team. The following season he signed for another great silver project, Hestia Menorca.

Last season they were rivals of TAU Castelló in the ranks of Juaristi ISB. The Basque team managed to stay and Dijkstra played an average of 20 minutes in which he scored 6.6 points and grabbed 3.9 rebounds per game, evaluating an average of 7.7.

His best game was signed in his team’s victory against HLA Alicante in which the Dutchman scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, getting a rating of 23.

Dijkstra thus becomes the first piece in the inside game of Juan Antonio Orenga’s new TAU Castelló.
