ANDl MoraBanc Andorra announced the reinforcement for the last stretch of the season of the Dutch shooting guard Yannick Franke, who comes from Trefl Sopot in the Polish league.

Franke, 25 years old and 1.96 tall, signed until the end of this campaign. The Dutch international averaged 15.4 points per game with 29’25” on average and 39.4% shooting from 3 with 3.7 assists.

“He is a player with a lot of points in his hands who really wants to play in the Spanish League and who is also a good generator of play”, assured Francesc Solana, MoraBanc’s sports director, who added: “He arrives fit and can give very good performance right away.

Franke has extensive experience in European basketball. At the age of 19 he became the youngest top scorer in the history of the Dutch league in the 2014-15 season with 19.6 points with Challenge Sport Rotterdam. The following season he signed for Groningen and from there he played the Finnish league and the VTB League with Bisons Loima. In this team he averaged 15.7 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. In 2016-17 he signed for Promiteas, but did not make his debut. He was also a member of KK Zadar. He only played 7 matches in the Adriatic League and 6 in the Croatian League.

Sporting stability came to him at Dolomiti Trento and, therefore, he made his debut in the Lega and in the European Championship. In 2018-19 he signed for Lithuanian side Pieno Zvaigzdes and there he was an important piece with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He then went to Hamburg Towers, SLUC Nancy, Start Lublin and this season at Trefl Sopot.
