Another youth squad from Movistar Estudiantes for the LEB Oro challenge. The young Chilean international point guard Nacho Arroyo Varela (1.87m, 2000) is the ninth player confirmed for the first men’s collegiate team. “It is a very tough league, but the objective is very clear,” he says, happy for the fact that there are four homegrown players who “know each other well, something that always helps.” The Technical Secretary, Íñigo de la Villa, affirms that Arroyo Varrela is “freshness” and that “we hope it can begin to take center stage after two seasons in first-team dynamics.”

The young youth squad Nacho Arroyo Varela (base, 1.87m, Chile, 2000) will be part of the Movistar Estudiantes first men’s team in LEB Oro.

It is the ninth confirmation of the college team, and the fifth player who has passed through the quarry, along with Javi Beirán, Johnny Dee, Nacho Martín, Lucas Faggiano, Felipe Dos Anjos, Adams Sola, Héctor Alderete and Rubén Domínguez.

The Chilean international both in the senior team and in training categories, arrived in Madrid in his first junior year, considered one of the players with the most projection in Latin America. He demonstrated this by standing out in that category and in the Liga EBA subsidiary (promotions to LEB Plata in 2019 and this 2021).
