At 24 years old, the young Nik Slavica (Sibenik, Croatia, 1997) is one of the promising careers in European basketball, even being entered in the NBA Draft in 2017. Trained in the lower categories of the Cibona, he has played in various Croatian league teams.

In the 2013/14 season he was loaned to KK Zrinjevac, to return to Cibona and consolidate as a ‘senior’ player. In 2017 he signed with Cedevita, also from the Croatian league, but would return a year later to his home club. After defending the colors of GKK Sibenka, in January 2020 he joined the ranks of Adria Oil Skrljevo, with which he averaged 29.4 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists per game.

Throughout his career, Nik Slavica has signed performances that have managed to attract the attention of great European clubs, such as when he reached 47 points and 16 rebounds in the confrontation between Cedevita and his training club, Cibona, in the season 17/18. In addition, Slavica has been linked to the lower categories of the Croatian national team, collaborating in the bronze obtained by the U-18 in the 2014 European Championship and the silver in the 2015 U-19.

With his incorporation, Roberto Blanco’s team adds quality in the interior game, and a safe scoring in the low post. Slavica is also a very physical player with the ability to contribute in defensive work.
