Nikola Rako?evi? (Montenegro, 1991) began playing basketball in his native Podgorica, where he soon caught the attention of Real Madrid’s young talent recruiters. After playing in the lower categories of the white club, the Balkan signed with CAI Zaragoza to play in one of their linked teams in the EBA league and even made his debut in the Endesa League with the first team.

In the 2011/12 season he made his debut in the LEB Oro with Basket Navarra. In this category he played the following seasons, with the exception of one year in Cáceres where he did it in LEB Plata, in teams like Clavijo, Valladolid, Breogán or Cáceres, where he returned to spend his last four seasons in LEB Oro, leaving signs of his offensive talent by averaging more than ten points in those years.

Three seasons ago he decided to go to the Slovak league to join the ranks of Handlová, where he scored more than 17 points per game.

Last year he arrived with a three-month temporary contract and his good work made him extend his relationship until the end of the season, where he finished as the best player on the team with 14.7 points, 1.7 assists and 12.2 PIR credits per game.
