Pau Gasol continues to make history as the first Spanish professional basketball player to make it to the NBA Finals. Once Gasol was traded to the LA Lakers, the team immediately opened doors to make it further in the NBA 2008 Playoffs, as opposed to the last couple of years.
The Lakers will play against the Boston Celtics in the 7 game series of the 2008 NBA Finals.
