With an identical scenario to last year, Perfumerías Avenida and Valencia Basket will meet again this season in the fight for the title. A final that they have reached after solving two demanding rounds of semifinals and that will have its first assault in Salamanca on the afternoon of next Sunday.

The faces were seen in the Final of the Spanish Super Cup last September with victory for Valencia Basket and they had done so previously in the Final of the LF Endesa 2021 where Perfumerías Avenida had managed to win the title in La Fonteta. Two valuable precedents when it comes to understanding that their third “final confrontation” of the last year will be a tough fight to lift the title.

A path that both have reached after some demanding Playoffs in which the perfume companies had to beat Lointek Gernika and Cadí La Seu and in which the Valencians did the same with Movistar Estudiantes and Spar Girona. Rounds in which they have had to work hard and that have been the best test bench for a final in which the Salamanca team will have home court advantage in their favour. Because, as happened last year, Roberto Íñiguez’s men have earned the chance to play the last game of the season on their court throughout the Regular League.

In this way, the fight for the title will begin on Sunday in Würzburg (Salamanca) with the dispute of the first match (4:00 p.m.) before traveling to La Fonteta (Valencia) on Thursday 12 (8:30 p.m.). If a third assault is needed, the final will return to Salamanca on Sunday 15 (7:00 p.m.), to play the match that will engrave the name of its next champion on the trophy.

The three meetings can be followed live through Teledeporte while both the second and the third will have the incorporation of Twitch through the narration of the same on the Outconsumer and Siro López channels.
