Perfumerías Avenidas are once again crowned “Queen of the Cup” with win over a very competitive Conquero Wagen. This is the fifth time that Avenida has won the cup title after their first win in 2005. Copa de la Reina MVP Angelica Robinson led all scorers and rebounders with 20pts and 11 rebounds. The first two quarter was a dual back and forth with Avenidas edging Conquero 37-33 at half. At the start of the second half the momentum went towards Conquero as they outscored Avenidas 20-9. However, the experience of the veterans from Avenidas would not let this cup slip away from them. The starting five gave Avenidas a big lift and the title during the last five minutes of the game.
Angelica Robinson has earned MVP honors for the second time with Avenidas in two years.
