Because Diego Kapelan’s triple decided the future of four teams by harshly punishing their exes, a COB that thus descended to the LEB Silver League.

PERMANENCE GROUP: Real Murcia burst into the Playoffs led by Diego Kapelan
Ibereólica Ourense vs Real Murcia Basketball (77-78) / Statistics
A triple winner decides a match of heads or tails in a crazy ending
With one team risking their lives and the other qualifying for the Playoffs for promotion, it seemed clear that whoever could take control of the game tempo was going to have a lot of ground gained. For this reason, the fans of both teams were able to enjoy a start to the game with a high pace of play and in which the perimeter players were the main protagonists with great exterior success. Because, with six triples in just over two minutes -3 per team- the figures went up on a scoreboard that announced a spectacle midway through the first quarter (11-11). A whole battle in which Real Murcia was able to raise their outside hit percentages to 60% to take a slight lead against a COB who worked hard between the lines to keep up with their rival (20-22). It was, after the first intermission, when the visiting team achieved a small income from a 0-6 that led Gonzalo García to stop a game that seemed to be complicated when Juan Rubio’s fourth triple without failure (4/4) triggered the differences in favor of the visiting team (22-31). Far from collapsing, the Ourense team shot with pride and, especially, the competitive character of an Álex Mazaira who rose to the height of the outside game to balance the score on the brink of halftime (42-46).
Little things changed after passing through the changing rooms since Rafa Monclova’s team was able to maintain its great exterior success, with two new targets (14/20) that, however, were not enough to break against an Ibereólica Ourense that was He left life in the paint to neutralize his rival after stab hunting outside (52-53). Nervousness began to appear in both teams but, especially, in a Real Murcia that began to err from long distance, fueling a COB in which the Spight – Henriquez duo began to do a lot of damage (59-56). Thus, the Galicians were able to turn the electronic game around to face a final quarter ahead marked by constant shooting failures by both teams (61-60). There were just over three minutes left to play when both teams seemed to agree to a new exchange of triples, this time with classics from the League as protagonists with everything one-on-one between Mikel Úriz and Álex Hernández (71-69). It seemed that the COB could get closer to victory and even more so when Joan Tomàs assumed command in the final bars with a basket that pointed to victory, but a missed free kick by Mikel Úriz gave life to his rival (77-75). There was one last play left, Monclova pulled the slate and Kapelan executed a triple from the corner two seconds from the end that put his team in the Playoffs, condemned the COB to LEB Plata and saved Levitec Huesca in the distance.
