Ricky Rubio Announces Intention To Enter NBA Draft 2009
The Spanish basketball point guard sensation Ricky Rubio officially announced yesterday his intentions to enter the 2009 NBA Draft. After playing in the summer Olympics in Beijing, Rubio recognized that he could play among and against some of the best NBA players and in the world.
“In this moment I didn’t think. But I realized that I could play against the best and I don’t think I’m making a mistake.”
“I’m presenting myself in the draft because they have said that I could get drafted at a high position. I could be at the top and thats why I would like to enter. No basketball player could say no to a high position in the NBA draft.”
