Rivas Ecópolis made club history by winning their first Liga Femenina title at home in front of the fans. Rivas led the entire game and while Avenidas tried to pull back in the game, smart play by Rivas and stops on the defensive end. Avenidas committed many fouls and hindered the play of point guard Marta Xargay and centers Marija Rezan and Angelica Robinson. The entire Rivas team rallied at home to give their fans the title.

Laura Nicholls completed her best season in the Women’s League in a dramatic fashion: First league title in the history of Rivas Ecopolis and Most Valuable Player. Nicholls has signed an impressive final series by averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds.
