Ros Casares won a hard fought game against Rivas Ecópolis to earn the 2012 Euroleague Women’s Championship in Turkey.

The first three quarters were extremely close and well fought out by both teams. However, during the beginning of the fourth quarter, the power, experience and great play by Ros Casares proved to be too much for Rivas Ecópolis. Ros Casares lead by Sylvia Dominguez and Sancho Lyttle were great down the stretch.

Asjha Jones was name the Euroleague MVP, although her team Rivas did not capture the title. Jones averaged 20.3 points and 10.8 rebounds, while shooting just a little over 60% from the field.
