The basketball jersey for the 2011 campaign for Spain was been presented yesterday by the Spanish Basketball Federation. Model, Jose Calderon who missed last years, World Championship due to an injury is back for a comeback for the 2011 Eurobasket tournament in Lithuania. Spain will be sponsored by beer brewery, Mahou-San Miguel and the jersey is made by Chinese company: LiNing.
Spain will be participating in seven different cities (France, Slovenia, Australia, Bulgaria and Lithuania) during their route for going during the Eurobasket Championship.
With the marks of top Spanish National teams and figures such as Rafael Nadal who just won the Wimbledon after a 44 year drought for Spanish Players and the Spanish Soccer team who also won the Euro2008 after not winning in the 40s. The national teams for Spain both women and men are hoping to follow in those footsteps in Pekin during the Olympic Summer Basketball Games!
