Spain Controversial Chinese Photo
The photo that shocked everyone. Although, I was able to ask a few Spanish friends about this photo, they defended the photo and fellow countrymen. The humor in Spain is different they said, but I think some things should be kept in private.

“The humor in Spain is different” Spanish people people are clearly racist

Hello
I am sorry Aldan, what you said is “clearly” wrong, how a country who legalize thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants can be “racist”, how can you put all the Spanish in the same bag.
My girlfriend is Asian and nobody in my family was shocked about that or said anything about her ethnicity.
The photo is absolutely not racist, there will be always some people who see evil and racist conspiracy everywhere.
by the way I also did that kind of things in front of my girlfriend’s family and they just laugh.
I am fed up with all that politically correct posture that many bloggers take…

Kingofpunk – Your completly wrong. Dating asian people or getting away with racism does not mean it is not a racist action. All you need to do is look up the definition of racism in a dictionary. Your intentions do not make your actions ok.

Kingofpunk and the Spanish Olympic Basketball Team: I agree with Aldan – I am asian and I find it offensive. I feel sorry for your girlfriend and her family if they are that ignorant or blind to how NOT FUNNY the teams kind gesture was.
If you consider that not racist, I guess it will be ok for the team to wear a black face, just as whites did back in the late 1800’s, when the Games are held in Africa. I’m sure you and the Spanish Basketball team will think that is totally appropriate and respectful – let me know how that goes.
Let me just finish with this – “Spain is number one” – just guess which finger I am holding up because it is definitely not my index finger. I hope you and Spain accept my kind gesture.
