Spain has made it to the Eurobasket quarterfinals with a big win over Poland 80-66. Pau Gasol was and is the heartbeat of this Spanish squad. His commanding dominance in scoring and rebounding cannot be replaced as he scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and four assist. The first half was very close with Spain and Poland exchanging leads. However, Poland could not pull through during the final period and Gasol was a huge threat inside for Poland.
Spain will now face Greece on September 15th at 6:30pm.
