Spain Loses Eurobasket 2007 To Russia
Spain was given every opportunity to close out Russia in the Final Eurobasket 2007 game in Madrid. Small mistakes cost Spain the game in a surprise loss against Russia. Pau Gasol says, he did not play as well as he could have. Including missing many key free throws in the end as well as the opportunity with the last shot that went in and out.
This loss could help reunite Spain and give them a better focus for the 2008 Olympics.
