Spain Mens National Team Crowned Winner of Tournament
Spain defeated the Ivory Coast last night to win the 2010 Canarias International Basketball Tournament 85-70. During their first games after several weeks of training camp, Spain proved ready during their route to win the 2010 Turkey World Championships later this month. Spain had to work harder for the victory over the Ivory Coast but their tough defense and end of the game experience helped them ease out a 15 pt win.
The first game proved very uncompetitive with a clear win over Canada 84-38. On Spain’s upcoming friendly schedule is the International Tournament held in Vitoria, Spain later this weekend August 6th – 8th.
