Spain’s Men National Team have gotten off to great start during their quest for gold at the 2012 London Olympics. The first preparation game against the London Olympics host, Great Britain was victorious for the squad. It look lots of hard work to get the win (78-74) over Team GB. Marc Gasol and Pau Gasol were the high scorers with 16 points each and 11 and 5 rebounds a piece. Carlos Navarro and Rudy Fernandez sat out with their respective injuries.

Comfortable Win Over France (81-65)
Spain started the game strong and found their groove early. Unstoppable under the basket and defense very potent compared to the weaker France. NBA Star Tony Parker did not produce much for France, with his respective eye injury. Sergio Llull led Spain with 15 points while Filipe Reyes added 12 points and 7 rebounds for Spain. It was a total team effort and Rudy Fernandez made his debut after leaving the NBA with a back injury earlier this year.
