Spain Will Host 2014 World Basketball Championship
Dreams have come true for Spanish Basketball! They were selected this weekend as the winner of the 2014 World Championship Host bid country. After a big campaign the country can celebrate this victory and start organizing the World Basketball Games 2014!
Former pro basketball players Arvydas Sabonis and Aleksandar Djordjevic opened the envelope to announce the winner of the 2014 World Championship Host Country.There were rumores 2hours before the winner was chosen that three finalist countries were:
- Italy
- Spain
- China
However, 92,5% votes were supporting Spain to host the event.
