The hosts of Japan and South Korea will be Spain’s first rivals in the Olympic Games, in the men’s and women’s tournament respectively.

The team that Sergio Scariolo will lead will meet Argentina three days later on the second day of the group stage, which will close against the country that qualifies in the Kaunas pre-Olympic tournament.

For their part, the girls that Lucas Mondelo will lead will face Serbia in their second game and will finish off this initial phase by facing Canada.

The two teams will coincide on their match days.
