The first half started slow for Spain, but later they showed their team strength once again by defeating Lithuania 94-75 in the first game of the Global Community Cup in Madrid. After the half, Spain held Lithuania to 13 points in the 3rd quarter. The big men inside for Spain made the difference with Marc Gasol leading the game in scoring with 18pts and Felipe Reyes power forward chipping in with 13points.  Spain will face powerhouse Team USA in the next game of tournament of the Global Community Cup, in Madrid.
