Palenikova (1’78, 26 years old) debuted last season in the Endesa Women’s League in the ranks of Laboratorios Ynsadiet Leganés, after spending several campaigns with Polish side Sleza Wroclaw. In the ranks of the club in the south of Madrid, the absolute international with the Slovak national team, she averaged 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 4.3 PIR credits in the 28 games she played.

Claudio García, Tenerife coach, defines Palenikova as “a fairly complete player who already knows the Endesa Women’s League after her year in Leganés”, something that “will help us to configure the squad”. On the technical side, the Slovakian is “a team player willing to help in all facets, with a great shot from both 2 and 3”.
