FFinally, Alec Peters will have to undergo surgery to try to solve the knee injury that has so far prevented him from making his debut in an official match with the Baskonia jersey. As confirmed by the club from Gasteiz, Peters will be operated on this Tuesday, November 2, in Chicago, by Dr. Brian J. Cole, in consensus and supervised by the club’s medical services.
Peters had been dragging knee problems since the beginning of September, after suffering a mishap during the friendly against Lenovo Tenerife in the Getafe Tournament. Although Peters was able to finish that match, the resulting discomfort has prevented him from dressing short since then.
Although, initially, the medical services determined as a precaution to carry out a specific prevention and recovery work, the subsequent development of the injury has led to the need to finally go to surgery. The recovery period will depend on the result of the intervention carried out.
