The 2022/23 season of the FEB Competitions has taken its first step today with the closing of the registration period for the participating teams in the six main categories organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation.

In this way, the LEB Oro, the LEB Plata and the EBA League for men and the LF Endesa, the LF Challenge and the LF2 for women have concluded the period in which the teams with sports rights and those other candidates for cover the possible vacancies that could be generated, they can present their inscriptions and documentation for the next course.

From this moment on, the Delegate Committee will be the one to determine, with its meeting on Tuesday the 5th, the final composition of some Leagues that will maintain both their number of places and their competition systems for the next course with the only exception of the adjustment of Groups in the EBA League. All this, once the different documents and guarantees presented are analyzed and validated in order to confirm both those teams with sports rights in the competition and for the allocation of possible vacancies.

It should be noted that, with a view to the next 2022/23 season, there has been a notable increase in requests for places in all competitions, which confirms the growth of the Leagues over recent seasons.

It will therefore be from next week when the six main competitions of the Spanish Basketball Federation know their final composition for next year.
