ANDhe Hereda San Pablo Burgos forward Marc García has undergone a successful operation for the heart condition he suffered and that did not allow him to be under the command of Zan Tabak, as confirmed by Albano Martínez, sports director and manager of the Burgos club.

The surgical intervention has been carried out by the arrhythmia unit of the University Hospital of Burgos and has passed normally, as confirmed by Martínez.

“The intervention went very well, in fact, it is expected that he will be discharged in the next few hours and we will have to wait a few days to see the evolution of the player and verify that everything has indeed gone as planned by the doctors,” detailed the manager.

However, he acknowledged that the operation lasted “quite a bit” and Marc García “ended up quite tired of it”, although the Catalan forward “has gotten up well, with great courage and thinking positively.”

From the club they are optimistic about the time it will take for Marc García to return to the pitch, although they prefer to be cautious and not set a date.

“It is possible that next week he will be able to start doing something and gradually increase his training capacity, although we do not want to set dates but the doctors will have to set them”, Martínez has detailed.
