SEMIFINALS: Two demanding duels at the beginning of the road:

S1: Spar Girona vs Perfumerías Avenida

A classic marked by the conditions

Alfred Julbe will not be able to have all of his players given the high number of casualties due to injury that the Catalan team has and neither will Roberto Íñiguez with up to four players contesting the WNBA. A double conditioning factor that, however, will not subtract an iota of competitiveness from the great LF Endesa classic in recent years, a match that we were able to experience already in the Super Cup last year and that is usually synonymous with spectacle. Although, in order to prevail over their rival, both teams will have to overcome the circumstances, imposing the virtues and advances of an atypical preseason and being clear that, in the face of such a demanding rival, perseverance will be essential. A duel that will be decided on the edge of 40 minutes and in which the slightest mistake can pay dearly. That is why aspects such as rebound control or minimizing turnovers can be key to reaching the final. And always without stopping to look askance at a physical plane that will mark the contest of players like Laia Palau or Mia Masic.

S2: Tenerife vs Valencia Basket

The debutant’s illusion examines the wishes of Valencia Basket

They have set themselves a challenge to be able to take a step forward season after season, a winning mentality that will lead Valencia Basket to fight this year for a first national title that escaped in the different finals played last year. For this, Rubén Burgos’ team will have to pass a first test not without difficulty before the host. Because Tenerife will play with the public factor in their favor in a historic night for the club and in which the team led by Claudio García will have to face the solid Valencian block. A team reinforced with national talent such as Ángela Salvadores who joins the effectiveness of the Ouviña, Casas, Gil … to try to add the first official victory of the course against a team in which Gaby Ocete’s magic wand must act as the starting point of the Canarian game. A clash that will allow us to know if Rubén Burgos’s men can opt for the title again after taking on a demanding rival.
