The presence of the Asturian has not been the only novelty in this kick-off of the Dean’s new project. And the fact is that there have been several changes that have taken place in the face of this 2021/22 basketball course both in the coaching staff and in the squad, where only the Bosnian Nedim ?edovi? repeats compared to last season.

Many new faces, although not all that are, since there are several absences that have occurred in this first training of the preseason such as that of the players Rako?evi?, Harris, Mukama and Barro. The first two have permission from the club and will join the preseason throughout this week. The incorporation of Mukama and Barro to the group will be delayed somewhat more in time. Both players are solving the bureaucratic procedures to obtain the work visa that allows them to access and work legally in our country. The second coach, Ivan Martínez, who will arrive in the autonomous city this week, has not been present either.

The rest of the players, who were arriving throughout this past weekend, were summoned from 11:00 hours at the municipal facilities of the City of Melilla to be subjected to an evaluation by the Azulino physical trainer, Juanfran Arias, and the physiotherapist, Jorge Cortés, who have served to know the state in which the players have reached this preseason. At the same time, the players who were not undergoing these tests have worked on the playing field together with coach Arturo Álvarez.

For this first session of the preseason, the Azulino coach has also been able to count on the participation of the players linked to CAM Enrique Soler, De Blas and Órrit, as well as the young youth squad player Fauvase Seidou.

This afternoon the team will return to the City of Melilla to complete the second work session scheduled for today, which will consist of physical work and individual technification.
