In the town of Fompedraza, the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin winery has been the ideal setting for the Valladolid team to gain momentum for their latest league commitments: CB Almansa with Afanion at home, Cáceres a World Heritage Site at home and Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma far from Pisuerga. Three games that end the regular phase of the 2021/2022 season and that can help UEMC Real Valladolid Baloncesto enter the promotion playoffs.

In this way, the staff and part of the technical staff and the Blanquivioleta board of directors took a guided tour of Bodegas Veganzones, learning first-hand about the process of making the wines produced there. Later, the UEMC Pucela Basket enjoyed a wine tasting and a meal to unite ties that put an end to an intense day.

Bodegas Veganzones, which has joined forces with the Club this season, is a family winery located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero that produces quality red, rosé and white wines, with numerous awards and recognitions, highlighting its brands of ‘912 altitude’, ‘Old World’ and ‘Picnic’ wines.

‘912 de altitude’, in fact, is the first wine brand that prioritizes the altitude of its vineyards and is present at all UEMC Pucela Basket matches in Pisuerga during breaks with the ‘Encesta tu triple 912 de Altitud’ event. And Picnic, the most recent, fresh and modern brand, in which Chef Carlos Maldonado, winner of MasterChef and holder of a Michelin Star at his Raíces Restaurant, is a partner.
