The Women’s Selection, with the new Coach Miguel Mendez at the helm, started this Sunday in Guadalajara the preparation for this Window of November 2021. Spain will play the first two qualifying matches for the EuroBasket Women 2023 from Israel and Slovenia this coming week. On Thursday, November 11, Hungary will face off in Szekszard. A match that will mean Méndez’s debut on the Spanish bench. On Sunday 14, the Women will host Romania in Almería. Both matches will be played at 6:00 p.m. and can be followed on Teledeporte.

In order to achieve the classification, the National Team has already trained at the Aguas Vivas Multipurpose Palace in Guadalajara with Silvia Domínguez as captain and bases Maite Cazorla and Leticia Romero; the escorts Leonor Rodríguez and Queralt Casas; the forwards María Conde, Laura Quevedo and Alba Torrens; power forwards Paula Ginzo and Irati Etxarri and centers Laura Gil and Raquel Carrera.
